Scoot Airlines.... translation.. we just take money

*** UPDATED AT BOTTOM: more fun times with Scoot shitlines....

Sup it's been a while.  I'm sure I could write a book about my travels and being a black chick abroad, but right now I need to vent.

Scoot Airlines has led to this.  They have systems that seem to not recognize my payment... but they will take the payment anyway.

Cue shitty customer service...

I made the mistake of booking two tickets via their official website. I booked this multi-city flight based on positive word of mouth. If only those mouths told me what actually happens...
Step 1: find and choose flights
Step 2: add flight options and discounts
Step 3: pay with VisaDebit and receive SMS confirmation of payment
Step 4: wait for ticket to be issued
Step 5: see step 4, check account and notice that the money is gone
Step 6: back to step 4
Step 7: call and email numerous times sending copies of SMS....insert 10 days since booking...also called bank and was told it well be returned in  30daysif the company does not pick it up
Step 8: be told more than once by some character named Nick Park that the ticket was cancelled because payment was declined and to rebook ticket.
.....but with what $$$$...? That $600 isn't just going to reappear.
Step 9: leave work to go sit in bank for 45mins to be given a statement... but this is Vietnam so statements are very general.
Step 10: 13 days after booking....wait for more...

So far it has been a horrible experience and it's clear Scoot does not care about the hassle they are putting me through.

Why do they not have someone to contact at their financial services office? Should Nick Park's job not be to make that contact rather than treat customers like thieves?

And why is there no real person to email ...let's face it, Nick Park is not a real person.  Just a name to protect the privacy of the customer service department and to hide the impersonal service provided.

Maybe I just have too much customer service experience to support this lackluster financial game Scoot is playing....

I can't wait to what 'Nick Park' tells me this time.......

Mar 22 UPDATE: Well I made it to the central bank here in Vietnam and went through a very time and human resource consuming process to obtain a more detailed bank statement.  Scoot is ruining everyone's day! Then I submit all paper work through the online feedback form that they say you must use....no real email...just a form...online...unsafe...pretty sure the information will be stolen...but that's how they do it. At any rate, I was then assigned a new number that would take 5-10 business days to address. I called and was told they cannot link the case numbers together (I guess that would just make too much sense). So someone whose issue is more recent than mine, but submit their info the day before will be tended to before me....I don't get it. I will never get it. I just want this to be over.
